25 Club

The “25 Club” was formed in June 1971.

The founder of the club was Mary Turner nee McMillan, the first meeting was held at Mary’s home in Narromine.

It was originally started for the wives of men who were members of various other service club’s in the Narromine district. In those days it was unheard of for women to belong to any of the service clubs.

We are a voluntary organization of 25 woman who meet once a month for a dinner, conversation, and discuss ways to raise money for the community.

Built the Rotunda in Tom Perry Park.

Narromine Ambulance Service

Narromine Cancer Support Group

Narromine Day Care.

Narromine Fire Brigade

Narromine Hospital

Narromine Primary School

Narromine Swimming Club.

Palliative Care Ward

StAugustine Primary School

VRA

After 36 years we are still going strong with 4 of our original members still actively involved within the club.
