Family Day Care

The Family Day Care Scheme in Narromine provides quality, flexible care in a family environment for up to seven children under 12 years of age, but no more than five pre-school aged children.

The Family Day Care Co-ordination Unit – located on Burroway St- supports the work of carers, assists parents in the placement of children, monitors the care provided and performs the necessary administrative tasks.  

In Narromine, Council auspices Family Day Care, that is, it has accepted the responsibility from the Commonwealth Government to manage this service.

In-Home Care

In-home care is a form of childcare where children can be cared for in a familiar environment of their own home by an approved carer. Families who don't have access to a child care service, or whose child care needs cannot be met by an existing service may be able to use in-home care.

For example, in-home care may be available to families living in rural and regional areas, parents who work shift work or non standard hours, families where parents or a child has a disability/illness, or families with more than two children under school age.

Services providing in-home care are committed to providing flexible child care in your own home environment.

Quality, Affordable Child care for school aged children up to 12 years of age during the school holidays.

Children meet up with their friends and make new friends in a warm, friendly atmosphere and join in activities, sport, art, crafts and lots more.

Our Service is a community based, not for profit organisation and as such our fees are the most reasonable. Child care benefit subsidies apply.
